SIXTH MAN LLC. is an upcoming ATHLEISURE streetwear brand working on piecing together fits that express and embody everything related to sports. If you don't know what we mean, think about everything regarding flow, comfortability, casualness, freedom, and versatility. Everything we create is intended to be worn for any occasion that our customers feel; we want people to use our clothing as freedom of expression and a statement piece around the world.
SIXTH MAN was founded and established in 2021 by Haleigh Talbert, a self-taught graphic designer and former basketball player born and raised in a small city known as Euless, Texas (located in the center of Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas). Haleigh started playing basketball at the age of 7 and eventually grew a love for the game through the journey of tracking down a scholarship; on her path of life, she discovered that many people doubted her ability to play at a higher level, there were more doubters than believers, and through this, she began to believe it herself. However, in the year 2017, she was able to obtain a scholarship to play D1 basketball. Yet, many people still didn't think she would do good at that next level, so from there, she discovered the value of being a Sixth-Man player and began to make a name for herself. For a better understanding to those that are unfamiliar:
The sixth man on a basketball team tends to be a player who's a proven scorer and will be substituted into the game to add a scoring spark, defensive spark, or to maintain the scoring ability of the team. They are trusted to lift the team when there is a dead spot at the start of the game. In addition, the sixth man is a player whose minutes tend to be in line with those of the starting lineup, playing equal or slightly fewer minutes than the starters.
This is what started the evolution of the brand SIXTH MAN.
From us at Sixth Man, we want to thank all of the supporters that have been rocking with us since our old brands "Plenty More Seven" and even "IMM" you all have been the origin of what our brand Sixth Man is today, and we cannot thank you all enough. We want to encourage each and everyone who will ever come across our brand to keep spreading positivity, be your authentic self, and express yourself through the art of fashion. We also want to advise you to never listen to others who may doubt you; instead, let that be even more reason to go after what you want.
